Presently, the newly organized Institute of Chinese Modern History is implementing a new administrative procedure. All full-time and part-time researchers shall sign a contract and bring their research projects to the institute. The institute is located in the south building of Yifuyuan (the scientific assembly hall) at Central China Normal University. It is on the third and fourth floor. It consists of 31 offices, about 2000 square meters. 12 offices are for the full-time staff on campus, about 280 square meters; 8 offices are for the staff from off-campus, 80 square meters. There are 7 reference rooms, 800 square meters; 11 rooms for other uses, 740 square meters.
